The cable car going up from SintCatrina to Caischavedras has been replaced by a very nice and modern installation only a few years ago. Two blue cabins go up and down. One cabin is called Agnes, the twin sister cabin is called Stella. 99 people fit into one cabine and in a few minutes you go up to the slopes. The cabin gives a very nice view on the region. You can see Disentis of course, halfway you can see Segnas.
Every 15 minutes the cabins go up and down but on peak moments, in the morning and around 16.00, the cabins go up and down continuously.
It is possible to ski down to your car from Caischavedras to SintCatrina if enough snow is available. This slope is a black slope. So you need to be experienced.
Most people take the cable car back to SintCatrina
